Managed threat detection provider e2e-assure has teamed up with Validato, a threat-informed defense platform, to help businesses assess and enhance their cyber resilience in the face of emerging threats.
This partnership leverages the MITRE ATT&CK framework to simulate real-world cyber threats, enabling organizations to test and optimize their security controls, identify vulnerabilities, and refine their defense strategies. Known as “Breach Disruption Validation,” the approach aims to proactively uncover weaknesses, such as misconfigurations and over-privileged accounts, before they can be exploited.
Dominic Carroll, Director of Portfolio at e2e-assure, emphasized the importance of continuous posture checking, especially as cyber threats grow more sophisticated with technologies like AI. The collaboration also addresses the increasing regulatory demands under frameworks such as the Cyber Resilience Act and DORA.
Ronan Lavelle, CEO of Validato, noted the shift from traditional, “point-in-time” security testing to continuous validation, reflecting the ever-evolving threat landscape.
The partnership also responds to growing concerns highlighted in e2e-assure’s “Cyber Resilience 2025” report, where 46% of organizations expressed only partial confidence in their threat intelligence use, and 90% of cyber risk owners reported experiencing a cyber attack in 2024.
By integrating continuous adversary simulation into Security Operations Centre (SOC) operations, the collaboration aims to help businesses stay ahead of threats and ensure their defences are always aligned with the latest risk landscape.
