The SANS Institute has announced two key cybersecurity training events in the UAE this May: SANS Abu Dhabi (May 18-23) and SANS Dubai (May 25-30). These events will feature world-class courses to help cybersecurity professionals in the Middle East stay ahead of evolving threats.
With increasing cyber risks in the UAE, including exposed assets and unpatched vulnerabilities, the need to enhance cybersecurity resilience is urgent. “The UAE’s rapid digital growth has made it a prime target for sophisticated threats,” said Ned Baltagi, Managing Director for the Middle East, Africa, and Türkiye, SANS Institute.

Held at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, the event will cover courses such as:

- FOR572: Advanced Network Forensics
- SEC670: Red Teaming Tools
A free Community Night session on May 19, “Tales from the Cryptography,” will explore real-world cryptographic failures.

The event at the Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah will offer:
- SEC565: Red Team Operations
- SEC566: Implementing and Auditing CIS Controls
- SEC511: Cybersecurity Engineering
A Community Night session on May 26, “Same Findings, Different Organisation,” will examine recurring vulnerabilities across industries.
Both events will be led by expert instructors and offer GIAC certifications, hands-on labs, and actionable skills.
